At The Steel Yard, creativity takes shape in sparks and steel. Through its hands-on Camp Metalhead program, young artists learn the craft of welding, blacksmithing, and metal sculpture—transforming raw materials into works of art and imagination. Support from the White Family Foundation has made it possible for more students to experience this one-of-a-kind opportunity through scholarships, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to creativity and growth.

Since the Foundation’s first year of support, dozens of students have discovered the confidence and pride that come from mastering a new skill and seeing their ideas take tangible form.
