Helping Young Artists Take Center Stage

At East End Theatre (EET), young performers find not only a stage, but a community that nurtures confidence, collaboration, and creativity. After years of steady growth—and with support from the White Family Foundation—the theatre has continued to expand its reach and impact. When enrollment in its Junior Stage program exceeded capacity, EET responded by launching First Act, a new initiative designed to welcome even more aspiring performers into its fold.

The program is led by a team of seven dedicated professionals who guide students through every aspect of theatre-making, from rehearsals to performance. Their mentorship helps children and teens discover their voices, develop discipline, and experience the joy of bringing stories to life. The Foundation’s past support has helped EET grow both artistically and organizationally, and its ongoing investment continues to strengthen a theatre that is building not just better performers—but more confident, creative young people ready to take center stage in their own lives.
