Where Heritage and Art Come to Life
For five years, the Fabric Festival held by Casa Dos Acores has been a vibrant celebration of art, music, and community, bringing the rich culture of Portugal and the Azores to life in Fall River. The festival connects local residents with contemporary artists from the mainland and the islands, creating a space where creativity, heritage, and community pride converge.
Soon, the festival will expand to include an edition in Providence, broadening its reach and sharing its energy with even more communities. For many in Fall River—where opportunities to experience the arts are limited—the festival offers a rare chance to engage with live performances, visual art, and cultural storytelling. With the White Family Foundation’s support, Fabric Festival continues to be more than an event; it is a gathering place where families, neighbors, and artists come together to celebrate identity, creativity, and connection in the places they call home.
